DESCRIPTION:“Light” up your afternoon at Shade Mountain Winery & Vineyards by making candles under the tutelage of The Olde Loft candle crafters! The Team at The Olde Loft (Richard Road\, Middleburg) have taken on the craft of candle making and are looking forward to imparting their expertise on to you! \nOn Sunday\, July 26th\, craft your own candles here at the winery by working through organized stations: 1.) scent bar/station that includes some of our Classic and Summer scents 2.) a vessel prep station 3.) a wax dispensing station and finally 4.) a pour station where your candles will be set. \nThe cost of the class is $35 and includes instruction and supplies (specially a 10 oz stone green tumbler\, capped off with a trendy bamboo lid adorned with “The Olde Loft” logo). \nAs an added bonus\, The Flower Farm on the Hill will be joining us offering a beautiful bloom bar! So while your candles are setting\, pick through their blooms and build your own fresh floral bouquet to take home with you! \nFinally\, be sure to stop at the bar and grab a tasting flight\, a glass or a bottle of wine to enjoy while you work (not included in the price of the ticket)! A little wine will surely assist in getting the creative juices flowing😉 \nTickets for the candle making class can be purchased here on our website and FB page. The class is limited\, so do not wait long to grab your tickets. Enjoy a wine flight\, wine slushie\, mimosa\, or your favorite glass of wine while creating a one-of-a-kind piece you’ll enjoy all summer long (not included in the price of the ticket).\nHow it works:• Purchase a $10 ticket to reserve your seat• Your $10 deposit will be applied toward the pottery piece you choose at the event• Pottery pieces range from $10–$55\nAfter the event\, all pottery will be professionally glazed and kiln fired. Finished pieces will be returned to the venue 2–3 weeks later for pickup.

SUMMARY:Vineyard and SUNFLOWER Walk @ SMW in Middleburg
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, August 9th\, make a trip to Shade Mountain Winery & Vineyards in Middleburg for a Walk through the Vines and SUNFLOWERS  & BUTTERFLY BUSHES!! We will walk you through our vineyard as it enters near harvest phase…. ending up in our “secret vineyard” where you will find a beautiful sunflower field lined with butterfly bushes! Take some photos of you and your friends in the vines and flowers! Be sure to take a sunflower home with you!\nWe will have a pathway clearly marked for you….so follow the arrows through the vines. A SMW logo glass is included in the price of the ticket ($12.00) as is a glass of your favorite SMW wine. Feel free to enjoy the glass of wine as you walk….or enjoy it when you return to the winery. The winery opens at noon so you may begin your walk at that time. We highly recommend you start the walk by 3:00pm so you can get back to the winery in plenty of time to enjoy a glass of wine.\nAs another “treat” we will be offering BOTH adult Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….as well as non-alcoholic Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….something for adults and kiddos alike!\n\nTo fill your stomachs\, we will have the Shake Your Buns and Do The Twist Food Truck on-site offering up their delectable dishes!  Yum! \nTickets for the walk can be purchased online HERE in this event listing or on our website. \n\nCall the winery with any questions: 570-837-3644!
