Thereafter\, the talented Beth Stark RDN\, LDN of Beth Stark Nutrition will provide nourishment for your mind\, body and soul with a high protein Greek yogurt/Cottage cheese bar! Also included in the afternoon of pampering is a warm weather SM wine cocktail to assist you in the “un-wine-ing;)” process.\nCost of the class is $30 and includes all the aforementioned activities/food/wine. *Yoga blankets and blocks will be available for use\, but participants must bring their own mat.* The yoga & protein bar will take place outside amongst the vines and in a beautiful pavilion behind the winery (weather-permitting). DESCRIPTION:Learn all there is to learn about the ancient crafts of beekeeping\, honey production and mead making!\nOur winery in Middleburg will play host to the beekeeping and honey producing GURU: Hackenberg Apiaries (Lewisburg\, PA). They have been in the business for 63 years (WOW!) and know all there is to know about beekeeping and honey production. They have been featured in TIME magazine as the first beekeeper to witness Colony Collapse Disorder in bee colonies.\nThey will impart their wisdom and offer instruction on what goes into building a beehive and the subsequent honey production. They will also offer food samples (made using their honey) and recipes to take home!\nOur very own\, Karl Zimmerman\, will be on hand to offer instruction on Mead-making\, as our Bad Moose Mead is made from Hackenberg’s very own Orange Blossom honey. DESCRIPTION:Register here in this event listing for this fabulous workshop hosted by Andrea of Farm Lane Crafts and Design 2.0!\nOn Sunday February 2nd (1:00pm)\, come to the winery and make a resin heart of YOUR STYLE with crushed glass on a white distressed 8×10 frame. Design it as you wish!\nFeel free to bring small trinkets to use as memorabilia\, but this not needed. Andrea will have shells\, sand and different shades of glass/stones/pebbles that are included in the workshop price of $45 (wine is not included in this price).\nYou will be able to take this craft home\, but it must lay flat for 24 hours to set. It will take up to 3 full days to completely cure. You have the option of bringing your own size gloves and a n95 mask. However\, Andrea will supply standard size gloves\, masks\, and aprons. We will walk you through our vineyard as it enters near harvest phase…. ending up in our “secret vineyard” where you will find a beautiful sunflower field! Feel free to enjoy the flowers as a reward for your “walking efforts!” Take some photos when you get there….and take flower home with you! \nWe will have a pathway clearly marked for you….so follow the arrows through the vines. A SMW logo glass is included in the price of the ticket ($8.00) as is a glass of your favorite SMW wine. Feel free to enjoy the glass of wine as you walk….or enjoy it when you return to the winery. The winery opens at noon so you may begin your walk at that time.  We highly recommend you start the walk by 3:00pm so you can get back to the winery in plenty of time to enjoy a glass of wine. \nAs another “treat” we will be offering BOTH adult Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….as well as non-alcoholic Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….something for adults and kiddos alike! \nTo fill your stomachs after your walk\, we will have SNACK BOXES crafted by Jenny Miller of Tried & True Catering by Aunt Jenny’s Kitchen for you to purchase ONLINE in advance of the day!
