DESCRIPTION:Join SCK Glassworks at Shade Mountain Winery in Middleburg\, PA on Saturday\, March 21\, at 10 am for a creative and fun-filled workshop. During the workshop\, you will design your very own Easter-themed fused glass night light! In this hands-on session\, participants will work with fusible glass pieces to create a beautiful Easter decoration.\nEach participant will begin with a clear egg-shaped base roughly 3″ by 4″ and use a variety of glass pieces to decorate and personalize an Easter-themed scene. Skye from SCK Glassworks will guide you through the process\, offering tips on creating visually striking patterns and ensuring your design will fuse beautifully in the kiln. The workshop is beginner-friendly\, so no previous glassworking experience is required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!\nOnce completed\, your night light base will be fired in the kiln and finished with the night light components. The finished product will include the night light base and a light bulb. You will be able to pick up the finished item at Shade Mountain Winery within 2 weeks. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to unwind\, express your artistic side\, and create a unique piece of art to brighten your home.\nThe class is $38 per person and you can register here. You will be given a take-home box) The confidence to bake at home\nLimited seating — reserve your spot early!\nThis class includes all the supplies you’ll need to create and assemble your own\, personal pizza. You will also be given snacks/grazing board to enjoy while making your pizza. Your pizza will be cooked on-site\, as the Pizza Gurus are bringing their own pizza oven that can quickly cook your masterpiece.\nNow what goes better with PIZZA than SMW Wine;)?! Local historian and South Danville Station guru\, Lynn Reichen\, will lead an informative talk on the history of the railway that runs in front of our Riverside location. So many people ask questions about this historical treasure\, and Lynn has agreed to inform us all! If we are lucky\, we may be graced by a “train fly by” while her talk is in process;)\nThe talk kicks off at 1:30pm at the Old Train Station in Riverside. Most of the talk will occur in our loft space….but Lynn will take you all for a walk around the building as well (weather permitting).\nTo calm your stomachs during the talk\, we will have Charcuterie Boards crafted by local favorite restaurant\, The Paw & Plate (Elysburg) for you to purchase ONLINE in advance of the day!
