The Team at The Olde Loft (Richard Road\, Middleburg) have taken on the craft of candle making and are looking forward to imparting their expertise on to you!\nOn Sunday\, March 1st craft your own candles here at the winery by working through organized stations: 1.) scent bar/station that includes some of our Classic and Spring/Summer scents 2.) a vessel prep station 3.) a wax dispensing station and finally 4.) a pour station where your candles will be set.\nThe cost of the class is $35 and includes instruction and supplies\, which includes a beautiful smokey olive glass tumbler to hold your candle;)\nBe sure to stop at the bar and grab a tasting flight\, a glass or a bottle of wine to enjoy while you work (not included in the price of the ticket)! A little wine will surely assist in getting the creative juices flowing\nTickets can be purchased here on our website and FB page. The class is limited\, so do not wait long to grab your tickets. SUMMARY:Fused Glass Night Light Workshop @ SMW
DESCRIPTION:Join SCK Glassworks at Shade Mountain Winery in Middleburg\, PA on Saturday\, March 21\, at 10 am for a creative and fun-filled workshop. During the workshop\, you will design your very own Easter-themed fused glass night light! In this hands-on session\, participants will work with fusible glass pieces to create a beautiful Easter decoration.\nEach participant will begin with a clear egg-shaped base roughly 3″ by 4″ and use a variety of glass pieces to decorate and personalize an Easter-themed scene. Skye from SCK Glassworks will guide you through the process\, offering tips on creating visually striking patterns and ensuring your design will fuse beautifully in the kiln. The workshop is beginner-friendly\, so no previous glassworking experience is required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!\nOnce completed\, your night light base will be fired in the kiln and finished with the night light components. The finished product will include the night light base and a light bulb. You will be able to pick up the finished item at Shade Mountain Winery within 2 weeks. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to unwind\, express your artistic side\, and create a unique piece of art to brighten your home.\nThe class is $38 per person and you can register here.
