Join SCK Glassworks at Shade Mountain Winery in Middleburg, PA on Saturday, January 31, at 10 am for a creative and fun-filled workshop where you’ll design your very own fused glass heart ornament! In this hands-on session, participants will work with fusible glass pieces to create a beautiful suncatcher decoration.

Each participant will begin with a clear heart base roughly 4.5″ by 4″ and use a variety of glass pieces to decorate and personalize their heart. Skye from SCK Glassworks will guide you through the process, offering tips on creating visually striking patterns and ensuring your design will fuse beautifully in the kiln. The workshop is beginner-friendly, so no previous glassworking experience is required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Once completed, your heart will be fired in the kiln, and finished with a hanger and ribbon. You will be able to pick it up at Shade Mountain Winery within 2 weeks (just in time for Valentine’s Day). This workshop is a perfect opportunity to unwind, express your artistic side, and create a unique piece of art to brighten your home or give as a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift.
