On Thursday, July 18th at 6:00pm our winery in Middleburg will host the fabulously intoxicating Ashtin Midkiff and our own Jenny Z Nicola as they impart their mixology skills on to you! Ashtin and Jenny will entertain as they mix up three cocktails, each featuring a Tait Farm Shrub (the identity of this mixology ingredient will be part of the instruction;) and SMW wine! You will also receive a Tait Farm appetizer paired with each of your cocktails to really round out the savory experience!

You will receive recipes with both the cocktails and appetizers, so this experience can be duplicated again at home!

Here are the cocktails and the pairings:
1.) Welcome Cocktail: Tait Farm Pineapple Shrub mixed with Three Witches’ Sparkling white wine & Prehistoric Peach Wine

2.) Tait Farm Ginger Shrub mixed with Sauvignon Blanc (dry white wine) paired with Tait Farm Ginger mustard

3.) Tait Farm Strawberry Basil Shrub mixed with Young’s Hill Riesling (semi-dry white) paired with Tait Farm Lemony Bean Dip

4.) Tait Farm Wild Blueberry Shrub mixed with Mint Mojito wine (sweet specialty wine) paired with Tait Farm Blueberry Tarts

The cost of the class s $15/person, and includes your three cocktails (a complimentary welcome cocktail as well) and three complementing appetizers! You can’t beat this price for an experience like this;).
