On Sunday, February 22nd (YES THIS EVENT IS BEING RESCHEDULED DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST FOR JAN 22nd!), make a trip to Shade Mountain Winery & Vineyards in Middleburg for True Crime & Wine with Dr. Edward Slavishak (Susquehanna University Department of History)!  Be prepared to shake in your winter boots, as he explores the “other side” of Central Snyder County.  In his tales of the unknown, ominous figures lurk just beyond the tree line.  Doors rattle as the wind sweeps across frozen fields.  And families huddle, whispering prayers for deliverance.  The event promises to be spooky, cozy and just a little doomed:  the perfect way to celebrate local lore! Rest assured, you can find solace/shelter during these sinister tales by sipping on your favorite SMW wine selections.

To calm your stomachs during the talk, we will have Charcuterie Boards crafted by Heimbach’s Country Store for you to purchase ONLINE in advance of the day! Each box is $16 and serves 2-3 people.
