On Sunday, August 10th, make a trip to Shade Mountain Winery & Vineyards in Middleburg for a Walk through the Vines and SUNFLOWERS!! We will walk you through our vineyard as it enters near harvest phase…. ending up in our “secret vineyard” where you will find a beautiful sunflower field! Take some photos of you and your friends in the vines and flowers! Be sure to take a sunflower home with you!

We will have a pathway clearly marked for you….so follow the arrows through the vines. A SMW logo glass is included in the price of the ticket ($10.00) as is a glass of your favorite SMW wine. Feel free to enjoy the glass of wine as you walk….or enjoy it when you return to the winery. The winery opens at noon so you may begin your walk at that time. We highly recommend you start the walk by 3:00pm so you can get back to the winery in plenty of time to enjoy a glass of wine.

As another “treat” we will be offering BOTH adult Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….as well as non-alcoholic Root Beer & Orange Creamsicle Floats….something for adults and kiddos alike!

To fill your stomachs after your walk, we will have Charcuterie Boards crafted by Heimbach’s Country Store for you to purchase ONLINE in advance of the day! Each box is $15 and serves 1-2 people.
